Finlay turbines has been in continuous operation through various ownership since 1946.

Our senior employees have been with us for over 40 years and have created a quality service in the field of balancing. Our workshop offers specialized balancing of machinery and equipment as well as static rotating services.

We service the Western Cape and surrounding farm areas. Many clients courier parts for balancing to us. This effectively extends our service offering beyond our metropolitan and provincial borders. Operating during office and after hours allows us to accommodate our customers. Onsight services for special requirements can also be arranged.

Our many long-standing customers is a testament to our services and exceptional quality. We do static balancing of rotating components (rollers, rotors, impellers, pump impellers, propshafts and more). Being able to also balance crankshafts and weigh rods and pistons, clutch and pressure plates for most automotive vehicles. Servicing of parts for automotive needs such as engines, torque converters and turbo blowers is also available.

Balancing of Machine Equipment

Balancing of machine equipment is vital to their longevity and quality. Reductions of vibrations ensures smooth operation. The vibration of machinery is normal, however through static balancing it can reduce loud noise and ensure the existing vibrations don’t affect the machines life.
